Massage Therapy
Massage can help us reconnect with and ground our bodies, release stagnant energy, heal the pain that is holding us back, and connect to our inner sense of calm. This helps us show up in our lives in a more holistic, hopeful, and happy way. Using a variety of massage techniques and modalities and most often blending a few to be perfectly designed for your needs.
| Local to VT |
All offerings are free/donation only. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. This is a community funded and operated organization. Thank you for your continued support.
Wellness Coaching 1:1
Bridge the gap between doing self care and being well cared for by yourself. After all, it’s wellbeing- not well “doing.” Sometimes all we need is an outside perspective on our internal narratives to help acknowledge and better understand our blind spots in every area of life. Aria can help to identify the missing piece between what we experience in our lives and the steps that are ultimately going to connect us to our most aligned and peaceful selves.

About Aria McGowan, LMT + Wellness Coach
After learning and applying wellbeing practices to her own life for a decade- Aria completed the 800 hr | Massage Therapy Intensive Education Program at Arizona School for Integrative Studies in Tucson. The program included a strong foundation of Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology (which she’d be happy to nerd about for hours.) She studied Swedish style Massage, Deep Tissue/NMT (trigger point), Sports and Injury Rehab, Connective Tissue (fascia), Thai, Shiatsu, Hot Stones, Cupping, Craniosacral, and more. An integrative approach can make lasting change.
Massage Menu
Swedish Massage: Known for its gentle and relaxing strokes, Swedish massage is perfect for stress relief and relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage: This technique targets deeper layers of muscle, ideal for chronic pain and tension. I love to integrate trigger point release with deep tissue massages.
Sports Massage/Injury Rehab: Designed to enhance athletic performance, aid recovery, and prevent injuries. In many ways a combination of Connective and Deep tissue techniques- with some added stretching and mobility. Clothing on or off depending on the injury.
Connective Tissue: Connective tissue or fascia work can help profoundly with postural issues often compounded over time from life and work experience. Working with the connective tissue can find and relieve the root issue of your pain. This massage technique can be practiced with the clothes on or off.
Thai Massage: Using acupressure and assisted gentle stretching postures- Thai style massage is great for increasing mobility, decreasing joint pain, and promoting relaxation. Traditionally done on a floor mat with the clothing kept on.
